Come work with us!
The Oakland Law Collaborative has part time office space available for a radical social justice lawyer, legal worker, social worker or organizer.
There are five law offices making up our collaborative. We are located in the accessible 1720 Broadway building, right above the 17th St. BART.
The current part-time opening is for a furnished, part-time office share 1-2 days a week including Mondays, and possibly Weds or Fridays and/or use common space on some days. The part-time rent for one day a week private office would be $412 a month, including utilities, internet and cleaning. An initial deposit equal to one month’s rent is required.
The opening is for a private office, with a large, well ventilated shared conference room, kitchen, waiting area, and other common space.
We have been in our current space since August, 2021, and in an office around the corner since January 2015. More than just a space share, we are looking for someone to join our collaborative who does complementary work and shares our political values, as well as our commitment to racial and gender justice, as part of a broader commitment to anti-oppression that values class struggle, international solidarity, and intersectionality.
